In the previous post we talked about things in life that drain my energy, relationships, situations, today let's talk specifically about food or rather let's say edibles.
We all know that we eat to get energy and stay alive. But what keeps us alive?
Well, our VITAL ENERGY.
Vital energy is the energy that gives life and animates our body. It remains balanced and flowing properly if we give our body the fuel it needs to function properly.
But what foods give us vital energy and which ones make us sick and steal it from us?
Yes, food has energy, for this it must be alive and vibrant. So when it enters our body we synthesize all its components and obtain the energy from that food. It becomes our fuel. We eat it and automatically BOOM up, our energy goes up.
Cooked foods have their chemistry altered and become dead foods, with an acidic pH, which does not match the alkaline pH of the body and keeps us in the wrong chemistry, which over time begins to make us sick and damage our organs and tissues. After eating these foods we quickly get a drop in energy, in Mexico we call it “el mal del puerco” (pork's disease), this happens because they are heavy foods, super difficult for the body to digest and assimilate. Not very convenient.
Your food should give you energy, not put you to sleep.

ENERGY THIEVES
Hyperstimulants of the nervous system: Coffee, mate, meats, sugar, energy drinks
These only release adrenaline and cortisol, which makes us feel a false sense of “energy” by tiring the functioning of the adrenal glands (constant release of cortisol and adrenaline). That is why when we stop consuming them we experience our true state: fatigue.
Foods cooked over fire: The most toxic are fried and grilled, then to a lesser extent baked, then boiled and finally steamed. These have an acidic pH which raises leukocytosis, a response of the immune system to this acidic pH that results in an attack on the body. In this process, inflammation and mucus are generated which will then be lowered with the release of cortisol to lower that inflammation. Over time, the adrenals begin to become exhausted by the constant release of cortisol.

Processed / Ultra-processed: They are devitalized, refined, contain chemicals, preservatives, colorants, etc. They do not nourish at the cellular level, they only give a false feeling of satiety and produce addiction due to their components. They produce hormonal imbalance. They poison the body and dehydrate it, which over time leads to health problems.
