From the moment you suffer a trauma, your adrenal glands start secreting adrenaline and cortisol, and you become acidic. You also start making survival a way of life. Your nervous system becomes hyperactive and begins to break down. Once you get used to being in this mode, you start repeating these learned patterns, and then situations start to occur in your life that guarantee these “doses” of adrenaline. And so you become addicted to the chemicals your body produces. If this story sounds familiar, keep reading.
These traumas take on new faces and forms: bad bosses, abusive relationships, situations that upset us, your noisy neighbor, a controlling mother, rebellious children, and so on. On the surface, it seems like the problems are outside, but in reality, you are unconsciously creating these situations. Although if I asked you now, you would probably tell me that you don't want those things in your life.
Far from being a punishment that you cannot understand, you must ask yourself WHY you are generating these realities. Each situation comes to show you that wound that you have not yet healed through others. These others become your mirrors and teachers when you go from survival mode to conscious mode.
Being able to manage this is extremely important, given that many of the illnesses and symptoms that you cannot heal, that is, that are chronic, come from these recent traumas or those buried in oblivion but that continue to act as physical symptoms.
SYMPTOMS OF UNHEALED TRAUMA
SCREAM FOR HELP
Feeling overwhelmed and desperate because of so many emotions and thoughts that have not been worked through. Asking for help directly or indirectly.
FLEE
Living in a constant state of escape from your own mind and emotions, escaping with addictions, food, chemicals, codependent relationships, distractions, entertainment. Difficulty being alone with yourself and your own mind and emotion.
FIGHT
Fighting with others or yourself for not adapting to your traumas and whims. Living in a state of victim who cannot cope with his life.
REPENT
After expressing your unresolved needs in a bad way and fighting with others, you fall into a state of regret and guilt.
COLLAPSE
Pressure (the unworked things that live automatically speaking to us through thoughts and emotions) leads to depression. Collapse. Too many unworked things exhaust us and make us collapse.
FREEZE WITH FEAR
Immobilizing yourself in various aspects of your life so as not to awaken these unhealed traumas. Feeling like you are collapsing in moments where the symptoms of the trauma are on the surface and freezing or even experiencing panic attacks.
HOW THE ADRENAL AND NERVOUS SYSTEM ARE AFFECTED
Traumas can leave you constantly on alert, as if something had to happen or was about to happen. It causes your adrenal glands to go into overdrive. Both internal stimuli (thoughts, emotions) and external stimuli (relationships, situations) can awaken these wounds and with them the adrenal glands are awakened, releasing hormones such as adrenaline and cortisol, which generate anxiety and altered states.
Your nervous system goes into survival mode. This leads to sadness, anger, lack of mental clarity and a feeling of chaos. If you let your internal interpretations continue to replicate themselves without healing, you will continue to replicate situations outside that guarantee adrenaline. And unfortunately, chronic stress generates health problems.
Some physical symptoms that can be associated with the Adrenals:
● High blood pressure
● Low blood pressure
● Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar)
● Tinnitus (Ringing in the ears)
● High cholesterol
● Tremors
● Restless legs
● Multiple sclerosis or ALS
● Cardiac arrhythmia
● Difficulty breathing/Shortness of breath
● Bruxism
● Parkinson
● Paralysis
● Low cortisol
● Attention deficit disorder
● Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder
● Asperger
● Autism
● Inflammatory “itis” conditions
● Scleroderma, Bursitis and Arthritis
● Steroid deficiency (causes problems in reducing inflammation of organs and tissues)
● Lower back weakness (pain)
● Sciatica pain
● Weakness of the kidneys and bladder (If the kidneys are weak, waste is not eliminated properly and lymphatic stagnation and health problems increase due to being in a constant state of autointoxication)
● Fatigue, low energy levels
● Chronic fatigue
Emotional symptoms:
● Feeling of being constantly on alert
● Anxiety
● Nerves
● Concern
● Feeling Paralyzed
● Fight-flight sensation
● Feeling overwhelmed, excess of thoughts, emotions
● Shyness complex
● Indecision in making decisions
● Stress of daily life
● Post-traumatic stress (a difficult situation in childhood or adulthood that left us with constant stress)
● Constant fear (Due to everyday situations or situations in the past that left us with constant fear)

● Fear in its greatest expression (Panic)

THERAPIES FOR MANAGING TRAUMA
When you refocus through breathing, introspection, and meditation, you can let go of a little more of what you no longer want in your life. Also, by doing biodecoding, therapy, and family constellations, you can heal in a holistic way.
Healing this trauma is very important. It affects the physical in a real and profound way. If you have chronic illnesses, there is conscious or unconscious trauma behind it that has not been healed.
