"It was hard for me to jump into the detox; I had some internal resistance. But something inside me told me it was a very good choice.
I was feeling very heavy, bloated, and uncomfortable with my body and the energy I had.
Almost at the last minute, I joined the group detox. I asked my body, and the answer was yes. Very clearly.
I think the resistance came primarily from commitment. The commitment to myself that I had to keep during the detox. To take care of myself, to be careful with what goes into my body, and to be aware of how much I had abandoned myself.
The first week was very easy for me. I quickly began to feel very, very good. The second week required a little more commitment from me because emotional issues surfaced. But I was able to stick with it. And the third week was very fluid and natural.
