REAL PHYSICAL HUNGER
First of all, it is important to distinguish real hunger from hunger due to parasites, the addition of neurotransmitters or to cover up emotions.
The hypothalamus (part of the brain located in the central area of the brain) houses the hunger and satiety centers, which control food intake. The hunger signal is felt when the stomach begins to synthesize a hormone called Ghrelin. This hunger hormone travels to the hypothalamus, where it activates a group of neurons that synthesize various substances. Among them, the neuropeptide; together, these trigger the sensation of hunger, and warn us when we should eat.
Blood glucose levels also play a role in increasing the feeling of hunger when they are decreasing and the body feels that it needs fuel. When there are problems in this process, such as diabetes, a constant feeling of hunger can occur.
There are also environmental factors that modify the sensation of hunger, such as smells, mental programming of meal times, etc. These reach the cerebral cortex as signals (vision, smell and taste) and modify eating behavior even if there is no real need for food.
CAUSES
ON A PHYSICAL AND MENTAL LEVEL
1- Presence of parasites and fungi that modify the function of neurotransmitters and our eating behavior
Causes:
- Diet of dehydrated acidic foods that are difficult to digest and eliminate from the intestine. Low in fiber and water (like fruits and vegetables). Which generates overgrowth of bacteria, parasites and fungi to eat those wastes that do not come out, preventing us from self-poisoning and starting to hurt the intestine (intestinal permeability)
Publications on the topic:
- Bad food combinations. By combining foods incorrectly, the pancreas is unable to release enzymes to digest such a wide variety of foods and some foods remain partially digested, passing into the intestine to finish their digestion through the action of bacteria. If our diet is acidic and we make many combinations, there will be an overgrowth of bacteria to help digest, which can modify our eating behavior.
- Consumption of fermented foodsThese foods are full of bacteria, yeasts and fungi. If our flora is in balance, eating them once in a while helps, otherwise we are adding fuel to the fire and adding parasitic organisms to the intestine that love to eat acidic, fermented and junk foods. Survival of the fittest! The more food we give them, the bigger the colony will be. And the more they will dominate us.
- Eating all the time does not allow for digestion. We do not complete the digestion of a food and we already consume another. This generates fermentation by the action of bacteria and consequently changes in eating patterns.

2- Consumption of brain-addictive foods such as sugar or foods with flavorings, additives, etc. These generate a feeling of pleasure and trigger the satiety centers, making it difficult to stop eating them.
3- Presence of Heavy Metals in the body
If you have breast implants, dental implants, bone implants, or IUDs, you have heavy metals in your body, which causes an overgrowth of candida (metal eaters). These fungi are our greatest allies, but their waste (poop) also contains 79 compounds that are toxic to humans, which generates different responses at the neuronal level, one of which is anxiety and changes in eating behavior, among others.

ON AN EMOTIONAL AND MENTAL LEVEL
1- Covering up emotions with food: Our mental structures at conscious and unconscious levels shape our way of seeing life. They show us how we react to everyday situations.
These patterns move our emotions, but since we were not taught to manage them but to cover up those displeasures with pleasures, (like in childhood with sweets) our brain usually works with rewards and looks for external triggers that make it feel pleasure and tranquility.
Foods like sugar (in all its forms and derivatives), super tasty natural or processed foods, are the best ally to bring the brain to pleasure and momentarily "forget" discomfort.
This puts us in a cycle that is difficult to get out of. We eat to cover up emotions and a microbiota is generated in our body that then begins to demand these foods, so now healing requires twice as much work, on a mental, emotional and physical level.
CONSEQUENCES:
- Increases the possibility of developing parasites in the body and consequently diseases
- Body inflammation
- Fluid retention
- Weight gain
- Weight loss (presence of parasites that prevent weight gain)
- Malnutrition due to damaged intestines that lose the ability to absorb nutrients
- Lymphatic stagnation
- Intestinal problems due to very heavy digestions
- If we have been doing this for years, intestinal permeability or problems such as diarrhea and/or constipation can develop.
- Belching, flatulence, gas, fermentative digestion
- Malfunction of the pancreas
- Mental confusion due to intestine overloaded with feces and parasites
- Decreases concentration (gut-brain axis)
- Mental fog
- Anxiety
- Depression
- On an emotional level, one can experience a great existential void after the binge, one feels sad and alone.
- Self-esteem problems
RETURN TO BALANCE
1- Consumption of fruits and vegetables to alkalize the body, normalize the body's pH, open the elimination channels and drain toxins
2- Let go of mentally addictive foods, fermented, processed, sugar, etc., to return to the normal functioning of the satiety centers
3- Avoid bad combinations and respect digestion times to avoid fermentative digestions and bacterial growth.
4- Avoid foods that are difficult to digest, which stagnate the intestine and end up generating an overgrowth of bacteria, fungi and parasites that change our eating habits.
5- Open the elimination channels to drain toxins and, as a consequence, gradually balance the pH. Cleanse the intestine above all.
6- Deworm, to change the flora and get out of the cycle of cravings and rewards.

7- Work on my emotions and heal limiting thought patterns with supportive therapies such as psychotherapy, writing, dance, or whatever to release and transmute. Turn to other sources of help and stop using food as a “rescue remedy.” The root solution is to transform our thoughts, and thus our way of feeling and perceiving will be transformed.
If you need help, never hesitate to ask for it. Things can be better.
