Cyn allowed us to accompany her during a 12-week detox, where she cleansed her body with foods, herbs, and other tools. We also focused on the mental and emotional aspects to achieve a comprehensive change aligned with all bodies. We share her healing experience in her own words:
«My name is Cynthia Cruz, 34 years old.
He The year 2023 was a year where my body made a strong call for changes. After many years of poor nutrition and gastric band removal surgery, gastroesophageal reflux disease appeared in my life. The doctor's response was a control treatment, not a complete cure. This was an emotional and mental blow because I couldn't conceive of having a life where hoarseness, shortness of breath, chronic cough, and heartburn would exist as long as I took medication and made lifestyle changes.
Which is why I started looking for other answers, finding vegan detox as an option to change my body.
It was hard at first, it knocked me out physically, but by the second week I didn't need the pills to control my symptoms, from then on everything changed in my life, my metabolism, my mood, my body's responses were incredible, I did the regimen for 12 weeks and not only did I lose 11 kilos, but I felt totally deflated and the symptoms disappeared completely, I began to slowly resume some things that I had left behind, realizing when my body was asking me to do it out of necessity and not out of anxiety. The detox not only gave me physical and mental health but it gave me total discipline and showed me how valuable my body was.
