Nico's Transformation
My name is Nicolás, but I go by Nico. I'm 30 years old, from Argentina, and I live in South Florida, USA. I enjoy yoga, being outdoors, and creating holistic and wellness experiences. I'm a plant-based chef and enjoy experimenting with food, using real, flavorful ingredients.
I started this detox with the intention of feeling better physically and emotionally. Six years ago, I had neurosurgery to remove a tumor from my pituitary gland. This tumor was causing my body to continue growing when it shouldn't.
After that traumatic experience, I began treatment with medications and injections. However, after two years, my quality of life didn't improve: I was on medication for everything, couldn't sleep, had no energy during the day, and suffered constant headaches. Added to this was the irritability, anxiety, and anger caused by not being able to be on call to do what I wanted and work.
During quarantine, I started trying different things, like cannabis oil, Reiki, yoga, and meditation. Little by little, I changed my diet, eliminating processed foods, meat, dairy, and alcohol. With these changes, I was able to stop taking painkillers.
This detox gave me the desire to heal my body more deeply, identify what's wrong with me and what isn't, and live better: with more energy, better rest, and less pain. This way, I can dedicate myself to doing what I love with a different attitude.
Two days after starting the detox, I couldn't believe how well I was sleeping and how refreshed and energized I was when I woke up in the morning. My mood changed: I no longer get as angry about things that used to bother me, and my headaches became imperceptible.
What made this process different from anything else before was the guidance of Lu, Flor, and the group, the information they provided, and the support through meditation and dance therapy. It was a process guided by love, compassion, pleasure, self-control, and peace.
For me, this detox was a great reset in my life. I feel better, I rest better, I look better, and I experience my daily life with love and compassion. I feel inspired and motivated, and I also think more clearly and communicate more calmly.
I believe this detox is for those who want to feel better and are willing to undergo a deep healing process through learning, experimentation, self-control, and self-love.
