TAKING CARE OF MY ENERGY

Years ago, before making changes, I was constantly tired… I'd drink three cups of coffee a day, wake up, and drag myself to the shower… I'd start my day wanting it to be over. I normalized this thinking that turning 30 was like that. NO! Big lie…

These weren't just the ailments of old age, they were adrenal gland depletion, chronic fatigue, hypothyroidism, and bad habits. What was sapping my energy:

-I was in a JOB where I didn't feel fulfilled

-I was in a toxic RELATIONSHIP, arguments and in a constant state of alert

-I had constant ANXIETY, I couldn't go out or use public transport.

-I would go into a FOOD COMA after eating, that's the only way I could sleep.

-I abused alcohol because it relaxed me and made me forget my problems. Work hard, play hard, I told myself.

-I interacted with people who were constantly COMPLAINING and I did it too.

-I lived in constant CHAOS, which was a reflection of my internal chaos. The list goes on, but I don't want to bore you, I think you get the idea...

Things I learned WHERE WE PUT OUR FOCUS IS OUR ENERGY What are you giving your attention and energy to today?

LOVE WHAT YOU DO AND DO WHAT YOU LOVE

Your time is your blood, your life force, your life, where are you putting it?

CHANGE ACTION FOR COMPLAINT

Does your complaint come with action (energy that builds) or does it just escape in words?

AS IT IS OUTSIDE, SO IT IS INSIDE

Are you working on yourself to evolve and take charge, or do you think that if everything were resolved outside, your life would be better? (Your partner, traffic, politicians, money)

LEAVE RELATIONSHIPS AND SITUATIONS THAT ARE NOT GOOD FOR ME

Are you still in situations and relationships that drain your energy?

BYE-BYE PROCESSED FOODS Does your food give you energy (that's supposed to happen) or does it leave you more tired after eating?

Everything that didn't add up in my life was draining my energy. Of course, I couldn't be tired, but with changes in diet and habits, I became more aware of how to take care of myself, HOW, and WITH WHOM I shared energy.
