Hi, I'm Juana, I live in Spain, and I did a Group Detox with Lu because I'm an overweight woman who's been trying to reach a healthy weight for years. I've tried many things to lose weight, and I succeed, but I always end up stagnating and stop losing weight. Then I get discouraged and go back to my normal weight.
Something incredibly important for me during this detox has been everything we've learned, worked on, and enjoyed with the rest of my fellow detoxers. We've been in a chat together, sharing progress, challenges, and our meals.
Every day we had a session of either dance therapy or meditation. For me, that moment was fundamental and gave me a lot of strength to sustain the process, in addition to certain keys to work on a personal level every day on our beliefs. I truly believe that those daily meetings make the difference with other Detoxes, because they made you set a daily intention for the Detox and from there it made more sense to sustain it.
I've learned so many things about how our bodies work, the importance of keeping our internal organs free of parasites, what they eat and what they don't like, food combinations, digestion times... And how to pay attention to all of this so we can incorporate it into our daily lives and, by being flexible with ourselves, change the habits that aren't good for us.
On a physical level, the most incredible thing this detox has brought me is the disappearance of a lump I had in my upper abdomen, which was possibly a chronic inflammation of my stomach. I've gained a lot of mental clarity, I have more energy, and of course, I've also lost weight. I feel much stronger and more active.
It's actually much simpler than we imagined and truly surprising, because not only do we eat a lot of things and not go hungry, but we eat a lot and there are some very, very delicious recipes. I assure you that after 21 days, you won't miss them (some foods) anymore because you see the change and understand ❤️
