There's no hiding or running when you strip away all those layers of unnecessary stuff, the excess, and all that remains is your essence, your true self with its lights and shadows.
It's not all butterflies and rainbows, because to achieve well-being, you have to overcome storms and avalanches. The path to well-being isn't straight, it's not perfect. Being able to see this with compassion and love is important. Honoring the shadow so that it transmutes into light. Knowing that you will carry it because you are a human being and you incarnated to learn. It's part of evolution.
Remember that you are already the most divine. We have forgotten our wonderful power of regeneration, which is our right, encoded in our DNA; we ourselves are the medicine.
The solution isn't found outside in a partner, a better job, a better dress, a new cell phone, one more bite of gluttony, or a night of lust. When we look inside and no longer fear ourselves, but embrace ourselves with compassion, there lies peace, calm, balm, self-love.
Let yourself feel and flow in this sea of sensations and feelings that arise during a Detox, which had previously been covered up with food… Let the sadness pass, cry it out until it dries up, and then sigh with relief. Look anxiety in the eye and don't run away, but take a deep breath and anchor yourself in the present. Get the anger out of your gut, shout, and calm that fire, to set healthy boundaries. Forgive yourself for having messed up again—similar but different.
Throw out Bye Bye Bom, because if it is kept inside it rots and if it goes outside it blooms.
