WATER ELEMENT

It's one of my favorite elements; we're mostly water. That's why if our body is 70% water and we don't eat foods that contain that level of water, we become dehydrated.

What many people don't know is that when we eat cooked food, it dehydrates us, and drinking water can't solve it. Hydration at the cellular level comes from living foods like fruits and vegetables that contain them.

When our water element is deficient, we become constipated, acidic, and emotionally “dry.” This element is key to our physical and emotional health.

It's also related to our second chakra and our sexuality. The organs associated with this element are the sexual organs (in women, the uterus) and the kidneys. This connects us with pleasure, creativity, materiality, and our relationships.

The water element has feminine energy, so when we balance this element, we also heal our own feminine energy (regardless of whether we are men or women). It also represents our mother, motherhood (self-mothering), and the women of our clan.

HOW to Balance this Element:
✔️ Fruits and vegetables with high water content, juices, teas and finally, if you are thirsty, water
✔️ Meditations and movement to help us connect with the second chakra, belly dancing, ovarian breathing, belly massages, hot-cold showers, swimming in natural waters (chlorine-free)

Water element BALANCED:
• We are more in touch with our emotions and do not avoid them
• We adapt and flow better with ourselves and our environment
• We connect in our relationships on a deep level (we leave the superficial) and in reciprocity
• Care from love and empathy, first for ourselves and then for our relationships
• Our kidneys filter well (remove toxins) and our bowel movements are frequent
• We have a healthy and rich sexuality
• We bake our energy and feminine lineage
