TOXIN FREE HOME

How you treat your body is how you treat your home.
If we put chemicals, toxins, etc. into our bodies, it seems normal to do so in our homes.

I have news for you, toxins don't just enter through the mouth, but also through the skin (beauty and cleaning products), and it's also what we inhale (smog, smoke, gases).

Who in their right mind would think of putting so many harmful chemicals in there? It's pure business! There's shampoo, detergent, cream, lipstick, chlorine, toothpaste... So what do you do?

First, be aware, read labels carefully, choose organic, local products, and choose small producers or artisans who know how they were produced.

Don't stress yourself out thinking, "OMG, so everything is toxic now." Yes and no. There's no point in panicking, but there is value in taking action. Whenever you run out of a product, replace it with an eco-friendly one. This way, you'll have a chemical-free home for several months.

Some ideas: bar soap instead of liquid, solid shampoo, sulfate- and paraben-free creams, homemade lemon cleaner, baking soda, vinegar, etc., instead of artificial perfumes, use essential oils, and so on.

Even if you don't see them, chemicals do impact your health. They are hormone disruptors, corrosive acids, inflammatory... Until you eliminate them from your life, you won't realize what they do and how good it feels to be free of them.

Your purchasing power is your choice. Where are you putting your money today?

What other tips or hacks do you have to keep your home free of toxic chemicals or minimize them? I'll read you.

A hug
