GET YOUR VOICE OUT

Many times I kept quiet about what I felt and thought, pretending "nothing's happening here."

So those unspoken words kept accumulating in my throat, like knots stuck in my throat:

Those I love yous that I didn't say
Those I like and feel attracted to that I kept for fear of rejection
I don't agree with that, but I want to keep the party in peace.
Those "we don't talk about that in this family"
Those angers that I swallowed and exploded inside

And so I could go on

I learned little by little and very deliberately to speak up every chance I got, to have those difficult conversations. It hasn't always been easy, but I did my best. Sometimes I hurt others with my words; I had to learn to regulate myself and say sorry.

Thanks to this, the thyroid symptoms that returned after my father's death and reintroducing certain foods (mainly eggs) are now easing. The most important of all is the ability to regulate my body temperature when it's cold. Today, I no longer eat eggs after realizing the hormonal imbalance. Emotional management, a mucus-free diet, herbal medicine, and a lot of patience have all helped me move forward.

It makes a difference whether you speak or not, whether you keep quiet or not. I do it for myself and my health.

I invite you to learn how we can be more honest, truthful, and communicate in a timely manner what we think and feel (the latter is sometimes more difficult; it involves being vulnerable and opening our hearts).

How much lighter would the world be? A world like this can be created, where there's no need to hide, cover up, or keep quiet.

Blessings and much more
