Our digestive systems and our bodies in general are more similar to those of apes.

The strongest ape is the gorilla, which bases 90% of its diet on fruits, and yet it is one of the strongest animals on the planet.

However, if we want to be specific, scientists have estimated that we share the 99% of our DNA with another ape: the chimpanzee.

In fact, humans are so similar to chimpanzees that even brain asymmetry and hand preference (left or right) parallel ours.

Is there any other wild animal that can be left-handed? Other animals don't even have hands, only paws!

A chimpanzee's diet consists of mostly fruit, supplemented by leaves, nuts, seeds, bark, flowers, and insects. They rarely hunt other mammals for food, and when they do, it is usually for dominance reasons.

If you give your dog an orange, he'll think it's a ball. Can you imagine a lion trying to open a mango? What would a rabbit do with a watermelon?

Every animal is made to consume certain foods, and it turns out that both you and the apes are made to gather, peel, seed, chew, and digest fruit perfectly.

Yes, I know what some of you are thinking: “What about sugar?”

A client recently told me that her coworkers were aggressively telling her not to eat so much watermelon because it was just water and sugar. This is pure ignorance, a product of the "system" conditioning.

If that were true, I would have chronic diseases… and, more importantly, so would primates.

Let me tell you something: fructose is a naturally occurring simple sugar. It's a monosaccharide that's more easily metabolized than any other food you can eat.

Complex carbohydrates (such as bread, potatoes, pasta, and flour) are long carbon chains that leave "sugar residue" because the body can't metabolize them properly. This can promote yeast, belly fat, and blood sugar spikes.

So it's not about how much sugar a food has, but what kind of sugar it contains.

When I teach children, I refer to the fructose in fruit as "sunshine sugar." It's magical and incomparable to table sugar or the refined sugar used in cookies and candy.

It's the best type of simple carbon you can consume. And remember: you need carbon and oxygen to create life energy.

Are there better foods than fruit? Grains? Legumes? Pasta? Bread? Meat? Dairy? They all have one thing in common: they can't be eaten in their natural state.

They must be soaked, boiled, pasteurized, cooked, or have ingredients added to them. These denatured foods can cause health problems by triggering immune responses in the body.

Why does the human body react this way to these foods? Because it recognizes them as foreign.

It's like someone breaking into a store and the alarm goes off! Intruder! Intruder! Intruder!

The fruit is special.

Think about the variety of flavors. Is there another food on the planet with such a variety of tastes? Is there another food that tastes good in its natural state?

Even the “system” knows this, which is why they use fruit flavors in their artificial and harmful foods, such as candy, chewing gum, and ice cream.

Did you know that fruit is one of the few natural foods you don't need to refrigerate (along with seeds and nuts)? They take a long time to begin to spoil.

The only fruits I keep in the refrigerator are berries (including grapes), because they tend to ripen quickly. But my apples, oranges, melons, mangoes, pears, pineapples, and peppers are stored in a large basket.

You can't leave unbagged kale or spinach in a basket, right? You can't leave meat or dairy on the table, right? No! They oxidize and spoil.

When you start incorporating more fruit into your daily diet, you may experience mild stomach pain, rumbling, or heartburn.

A client told me that her stomach was making loud rumbles at work because she'd eaten too much fruit. She felt discouraged and embarrassed.

My first reaction was to blame the fruit. So I asked him what he'd eaten the day before. It turned out to be junk food!

The stomach rumbling was due to the fruit being astringent, meaning it cleanses. It was cleansing his intestines and mixing with the "garbage" leftovers. So let's not blame the fruit for doing its job.

If you had a diet rich in fruit, you wouldn't have stomach pains, rumbling, or heartburn, because your body would be clean.

Remember, this is all chemistry. Fruit is always the answer for the human body. And I'll tell you why:

There is a wide variety of fruits with diverse flavors.

Most nuts and seeds come from fruits, making them a complete food group.

The fruit is astringent: it cleanses and eliminates toxins and waste.

Fruits don't need to be denatured; you can eat them raw. That makes them truly fast food.
