Cacao Tour & Ceremony FEB 14th
Celebrate the International Day of Love by connecting with the earth, the community, and the sacred spirit of cacao. This full-day immersive journey takes you from San Marcos deep into a lush cacao forest.
The JourneyOur day begins at 6:00 a.m., departing from San Marcos in a private shuttle. Upon arrival at the cacao plantation, you will be welcomed with a delicious, refreshing beverage crafted directly from the fresh cacao fruit, a rare and vibrant taste of the harvest.
The Heart of the Forest
Step into the shade of the cacao groves for an educational tour of the «Tree to Cup» process. You will learn firsthand how these sacred trees are tended, how the fruit is harvested and opened, and the intricate fermentation steps required to transform raw seeds into the cacao you enjoy in your cup.
Ceremony & Celebration
Following a traditional vegetarian included lunch, we will transition into a deep, soulful experience. Hosts Lu and Mahana will facilitate a Cacao Ceremony held amongst the very trees that produce the medicine. This unique ceremony is accompanied by live medicine music, creating a powerful connection between the plant, the music, and the celebrating of love and life
